We had just parked our car. My husband rushed inside a coffee shop, while I stayed in the car to wait for him.

Right after he entered the coffee shop, a car crashed into ours. Through my peripheral vision, I saw the other car sliding into ours. The young girl in the car was on her cell phone.

The crash was hard and loud, and the car shook, moving my body forward and to the side of my door. I still had my seat belt on. When her car finally stopped in the slide against ours, I jumped out of my car to take a look at everything. The young girl was still on her cell phone.

She finally came to meet me. I said to her, “You were on your cell phone the whole time of the crash. How many times do you talk on your cell while driving? You do this every day?” She nodded her head yes. “What is God trying to tell you? Obey, Obey, Obey.” She nodded her head again.

In distress, she was still talking on her cell and saying, “Here is my insurance. What number do I send this to? I gotta go.” I gave her my number.

I then said, “Look, we are okay. Nothing happened to either one of us. God kept us. He loves you.” She turned around and started walking toward a restaurant, talking on her cell phone. I watched a soul walk away. What could I do?

I went into the coffee shop to get my husband. We both went to look at the damage to the car. There was NO REAL DAMAGE to the car. There was just a very small, unnoticeable scratch. How could that be! It was JESUS! My husband rushed back into the coffee shop to finish what he was doing.

I went back into our car. I just sat there. I looked out the window and here comes the girl who crashed into our car. She was on her cell phone. I quickly got out and walked up to her. She said, “I gotta go.” She told the person to whom she was talking, “I hit her car. I hit her car.” She walked away from me and got into her car. I took a moment to think and then walked up to her car and tapped on her window. She would not open it. I persisted and tapped on her window two more times.

Finally, she rolled down her window. I said, “Listen to me.”

She was still on her cell and said, “I gotta go.”

I said, “Listen, stop saying that. That is like a little girl running away from a situation she caused. You stop that and you listen. You just crashed into a lady’s car, and she is telling you that all is okay and that God loves you.” She told the person on her cell phone that she would call back.

I said, “Look, you crashed into my car. But you didn’t crash into the car of just any woman. I am not just any woman who you have crashed into.” (At the same time, I wondered how I could say that about myself. I was embarrassed before the Lord.) “I am a woman who knows God and His Son, Jesus, the Savior! He wants you to know that He loves you. I put my hand through the window and rubbed her face and head. I said, “It is all okay. There was no damage to our car. Your car had more damage.” She shook her head no. I said, “You are okay. So am I. God loves you. The only reason this has happened is because Jesus wants you to know Him.”

I said, “Listen, it is all okay. Jesus just wants you to know how much He loves you and that He wants you to have eternal life in heaven. Don’t you want to know Him?”

She nodded her head. “Okay, lets pray,” I encouraged. We began to pray. She believed in Jesus as her Savior. When she confessed her sins, she cried deeply. Then she gave her life to Jesus for His glory.

I then told her, “Do me a favor: please send me a photo of you. I will be praying for you.  Now, you have something to really celebrate this Christmas.” She did not respond. She simply thanked me with tears pouring down her face and drove away.

Three days later, I received a message on my iPhone. It was her! She sent a photo of her and her son. I was thrilled! Since then, we have been developing a friendship. She is a young Korean single mommy. What a blessing—a young, single mommy!

I have talked about where and how to read the Bible, which she needs to do immediately. She had been going to a Presbyterian Korean Church.

It has been a blessing to get to know her and know of her obedience to read the Bible and look to Jesus, her Savior!  It is almost Christmas!

“Abba, I can’t tell this story without crying. A car crash for a soul! No damage to anyone or our car. Only in Your power, God Almighty!”

“Messiah, Soul Savior, are You not the Son of God who watches over the single mommies, so much so that You would cause this one to crash into our car just because You wanted her in heaven with You!”

“Holy Spirit, I didn’t know what to do when she walked away, but You brought her back. And You gave me the courage and persistence to go after her soul for Jesus! Thank You.”
